Terms of Service

1. The service
Max Shopping the USA ("we", "us") provides a personal shopping and purchase-forwarding service. You submit links to products sold by third-party US retailers; we quote a total price; upon your approval and payment, we purchase the items on your behalf and arrange international shipping to your address. We are not the seller or manufacturer of any item and are not affiliated with the retailers.
2. Quotes
Every quote is one all-in price covering the requested items, our service, and shipping. Quotes are valid for 7 days. If retailer availability or pricing changes materially before purchase, we will contact you before proceeding. Payment is due in full before any purchase is made.
3. Payment
Payments are collected through third-party invoice links (e.g., PayPal, Stripe, Wise). We never request or store card numbers directly. Chargebacks filed after items have been purchased on your behalf constitute a breach of these terms.
4. Customs, duties, and import legality
You are the importer of record. You are solely responsible for (a) any customs duties, VAT, or fees charged by your destination country, and (b) confirming that the items you request are legal to import in your country. Parcels refused, seized, or destroyed by customs due to destination-country restrictions are not refundable.
5. Prohibited items
We refuse requests for items on our prohibited list or restricted by our carriers. We may cancel and refund any request at our discretion before purchase.
6. Shipping, loss, and damage
Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Risk of loss transfers per the carrier's terms; carrier-confirmed lost parcels are compensated per the carrier's claim outcome plus our cooperation in filing. Damage claims require photos within 48 hours of delivery. Optional additional insurance is available at quote time and is recommended for high-value items.
7. Returns and refunds
Before purchase: full refund on request. After purchase: refunds are only possible where the US retailer accepts the return, minus return shipping and a service charge. Final-sale and non-returnable items cannot be refunded.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any request is limited to the total amount you paid us for that request. We are not liable for retailer stock errors, manufacturer defects, customs decisions, or carrier delays.
